ACOA licence

The Aggrandised, Convalescent, Open Access licence, or ACOA licence, is a licence dedicated to upholding free access, through forbidding the restriction of access.

The "Software" refers to the source code, accompanying documentation, and/or
    any other accompanying files, which are publicly available.

The "Licence" refers to the full ACOA3b licence.

The "Licensee" refers to anyone who has obtained a copy, derivative, and/or
    portion of the Software licensed under the Licence.

"Derivatives" are derivative works.

The "Core Tenets" of the Licence are:

    (1) Preventing the intentional restriction of access.

    (2) Allowing the authorship of successors to the Licence.

    (3) Allowing the inclusion of multiple licences for those wishing to create
        Derivatives of the Software to use at their discretion.

    (4) The inability to remove core tenets.

    (5) The ability of the author of the Licence to create additional Core
        Tenets.

    (6) The ability of the author of the Licence to modify the core tenets after
        consideration, provided the modifications are within the terms of the
        previous Core Tenets.

ACOA3b is henceforth recognised as the successor the the ACOA3 licence, and
thus the successor to any licences which ACOA3 itself succeeded.

Permission is hereby granted to the Licensee to deal in the Software without
limitation of the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, and/or distribute
copies of the Software, provided the following conditions are met and upheld:

    (1) The ability of others to obtain copies of the Software and to create
        Derivatives of the Software is not restricted intentionally further than
        any restrictions in place at the time of the adoption of the Licence.
        Restrictions to the ability to obtain copies of the Software or to
        create Derivatives of the Software may look like:

            (a) The introduction of a mandatory payment, fee, charge, gratuity,
                service, or negotiation without which the ability to obtain
                copies of or create Derivatives of the Software is heavily
                restricted or forbidden.

            (b) The introduction of a check or verification which permits the
                restriction or denial of a copy of the Software or of the
                ability to create a Derivative of the Sofwtare.

        Permission is granted, however, to create restriction on access to the
        Software provided one of the following exemptions is applicable:

            (a) The Software exposes the sensitive information of a person, or
                exposes information about a person which they wish to beremoved.
                In this case the Licensee may completely restrict or forbid
                access to only the affected versions of the Software.

            (b) The Software is legally mandated to have access to it restricted
                or forbidden. In this case, the Licensee must restrict access as
                much as required to all affected versions of the Software as
                required to remain within the law.

    (2) All copies of the Software, unless with the express permission of the
        Licence elsewhere, are licensed under the Licence exclusively.

Permission is granted to the Licensee to include other licences into the
Software provided the Software isn't licenced under these extra licences. Any
person wishing to create a Derivative of the Software may choose at their
discretion whether they wish for this Licence to remain effective for their
Derivative or to relicense their Derivative under one of these extra licences.

Permission is granted to the Licensee to relicense the Software under any
successor to the Licence at will, if and only if the new Licence meet the
following criteria:

    (1) The Core Tenets of this Licence are upheld in the new licence.

    (2) The new licence acknowledges or states that it is a succesor to this
        Licence.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE
AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER
LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM,
OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE
SOFTWARE.
